Evacuation Drill Presentation   Database  

The Florida Board of Education Rule 6A-3.0171 requires that all school Principals or their designee, direct school bus emergency evacuation drills on each school bus servicing the school during the first six (6) weeks of each semester, and to maintain documentation for all students. In addition, principals are to provide instruction for all transported students in safe practices on and off the bus during the first six (6) weeks of the first semester of the school year.

The Department of Transportation has created a PDF File to assist Principals with this process.
